Comments:After hearing all the reviews about Chi from the real world I finally broke down and bought one. It's expensive, but totally worth it.It has a smooth glide, and it doesn't snag onto any hair. You can curl and wave out your hair with the greatest of ease. I own the Nano version, and it's as clean and fresh as it was the first day I bought it. Which was over a year now. I've even compared it with two other flat irons, expensive and brand name irons, and I felt this one was the smoothest over the hair. Of course, I was biased. Haha! Pros:no gross product build upsmooth glide over the hair heats up fast works on all hair types easy to use Cons:no temperature control |

I would recommend this item to a friend. Comments:I have thin-fine hair that is color treated. Sounds bad, I know, but my hair is in good shape. Anyway, I was using a conair flat iron with adjustable heat settings and it was always just ok. It made my hair straighter, but it was never super straight and the ends were still "flippy" and would get snagged in the iron. I bought my CHI, but while waiting for my order to arrive I tried my bestie's new CHI. Holy Moses. My hair was super straight, and the plates are like butter! My hair slips right through, even the fine little ends that used to get snagged in my other iron. Since the heat is not adjustable, I make sure to use plenty of heat protectant. It's not a concern for me. If you have fine hair like I do, just make sure to protect it, make quick passes, and it won't damage your hair... goes without saying that, as with any heated styling tool, if you let in linger on your hairs too long, you will burn them. Duh. I've only had mine a few weeks, so no shorts in the wiring yet. We shall see. I kept the box, receipt, and all the packing slips just in case. This is the sleekest and shiniest my hair has ever been. I get compliments all the time now! Even my boyfriend, manliest of all men who washes his hair with soap (because I guess that's how real men do it... or cavemen... whatevs...), told me that this iron makes my hair look "hotter." LOL No regrets with the purchase of this iron! |
