This product has to be mixed with equal parts of Shades EQ Processing Solution to add incredible shine without adding color to natural or color-treated hair. Shades EQ Equalizing Conditioning Crystal Clear can also be added to any of the other Color Glosses to dilute color intensity.

Crystal clear can be added to your formula to reduce the intensity of the color, or can be used without other tones to shine and gloss up the hair. Please be sure to follow the directions and mix proper quantities with the developer and other shades used. This system is my favorite.Pros:

I had never mixed my own product, always bought the box o' color from the drug store, but hated how it damaged my hair and gave me no dimension in color. I had heard of Shades EQ and thought I would try it....and I am glad I did. I've never gone back to the box again. It's simple to measure as it's equal parts and it actually conditions your hair, leaving it in better condition than prior to coloring. Never will I use anything else...and I don't need a license to purchase it here...YAY!I would recommend this item to a friend.
