I love the Alterna Hemp Seed Straightening Balm and have been using it for years! It keeps my bangs straight, even the rest of my hair is curly....even on humid days!!!Pros:

This straightening balm is the best I've ever tried. Of all of the products I put on my hair, this is a must-have item. It makes it much softer and straighter and easier to blowdry than any other. It also doesn't leave the hair stiff but gives a lot of moveability.Pros:

I LOVE this product. It worked better than any other hair straightening product I've used. The only complaint I have is, it didn't last very long. Having very thick hair, I had to use more than the recommended 'dime dollop', so I ran out of the product after only a week! For the price, we should get more! Great product!

I have always liked the Phyto straightening balm but have felt it is overpriced for what it is. I tried this Alterna product and am switching to it. It works just as well for me on reducing frizziness and generally smoothing my hair, and costs less. Straightens without weighing down

Straightens without weighing down, reduces friz, smells good. Also helps reduce friz for wavy hair when applied to wet hair without straightening/styling and allowing it to air-dry. This product is great for thick hair that frizzes

I ordered this as I've purchased it from my salon previously and often have difficulty finding it. Its a great product, and does exactly what it claims to do: straighten hair while drying it without frizz. I highly reccomend the product; the only issue is with the dispenser, which is not a tube as shown, but a bottle with a pump, which often sticks. Otherwise, a great product. This is a great product

This is a great product, as HempSeed Oil is it's foundation....It's nourishing, sleek, soft & with a pleasantly mild aroma. I like to put it on my hair at night to leave in for a nourishing night treatment. Light, non-greasy formula adds sleek shine without weighing it down.
