Alterna Caviar Shampoo with Age-Control Complex minimizes the visible signs of ageing. I really love this product. I have natural curly hair, and it keeps my crazy curls in order. It also is wonderful if you have dry hair or dry scalp. The half gallon size lasted for 13 months. It's a great value!

I liked this shampoo. I used the matching conditioner with it. I like this formula for winter and the Volumizing Shampoo/ Conditioner for summer. Smells wonderful and gives a nice shine. If you prefer Sulfate-free shampoo's and don't mind the high price tag (though Sleekhair.com has the best prices) than I'd recommend.

My stylist suggested I use the moisture shampoo by Alterna Caviar (Anti-Aging) after I had a perm and the perm dried out my hair somewhat. This shampoo along with the conditioner restored the moisture in my hair and brought it back to life. My perm is in fine shape and I gladly spend a few extra dollars for the Alterna products.

This shampoo is wonderful. I have fine, dry, curly hair and this shampoo has done wonders. It took about two weeks to see a difference in my hair. My curls are now full and bouncy, not weighted down and frizzy on the ends. I use the conditioner as well................I am extremily happy with this line of products.........Thank you.

My daughter gave me a sample of this shampoo she received with a previous purchase. I tried it and loved it. I have dry, thin hair ordinarily, but this shampoo, Alterna Caviar Seasilk Moisture shampoo, and its conditioner is the best treatment I've ever given my hair--just when I needed it the most. After trying all the salon brands only to be disappointed I found this and its honestly comparable to no other. I adore its scent - very fresh and not overwhelming at all. It gives my hair the perfect amount of moisture and wow does it feel amazing while washing. It lathers beautifully, never strips and cleans my scalp without irritation. My long hair is left bouncy, soft, hydrated and it just gets better with each use. I cannot say enough good things about this and I recommend everyone try it. I know its a bit expensive but completely worth it!

I have blonde (so somewhat damaged) and fine hair. For some reason no matter what I use, my hair is always tangly and feels unhealthy. I have tried almost every higher end shampoo (recent favorite was Joico K-PAK) and I think FINALLY, I found THE ONE. This stuff makes your hair feel like silk, extra shiny, and my brush now just glides through - NO MORE TANGLES! I think I can stop searching for the perfect shampoo/conditioner because THIS IS IT!!! :):)

My hair stylist introduced me to Alterna products about six years ago. It was my first visit with her, and she advised me to get rid of my "*80's" style hair and gave me a whole new cut, showed me how to style it with round
brushes and a few touches of the flat iron. I loved the Alterna shampoo she used, along with the conditioner.
I am now 56 years old and still using Alterna, but stopped buying them at the salon when I ran across the Sleek Hair Website, and they were much less expensive, and came in bigger sizes. I still get compliments on my hair, and it's in better condition now than it ever was when I was younger. Wouldn't try anything else!

The "volume" products have more biotin and panthenol for my baby fine hair. I use a dime-size or quarter-size amount & work up a wonderful thick, rich lather. It doesn't take a lot of water to rinse either.

You will not find a better shampoo and conditioner. Absolutley worth every penny. I have fine, very dry and somewhat damaged hair from bleaching and flat iron abuse. I have literally purchased about 50 different salon grade products and this is the only product that makes my hair look 100% healthy. This shampoo and conditioner and moroccan oil are the best products on the market. FACT!

You might balk at the price tag of this his Caviar Seasilk Moisture shampoo--and honestly, all Alterna products have luxury price tags. But you will be thrilled with the glorious halo of shine this shampoo will give you. The omega 3 in the caviar really does something to your hair. I also have thick, fine, wavy hair (like the reviewer above) that has a tendency to to be dry and to frizz a little toward the ends. But not any more. Using this product is like an extreme makeover for my hair, and makes all my other shampoos sit collecting dust.
For comparison, when I have used the Alterna Caviar Seasilk VOLUME shampoo, I found it also to be effective in creating shine, but it has no relaxing effect on waves. And the frizz does some back after a day. With the MOISTURE shampoo, frizz is effectively banished, and my waves are slightly relaxed. The effect is not heavy, though. Think silky, soft, shine. Think everything you always wanted in a shampoo but were afraid to ask. I regret only that it took me so long to discover this wonderful shampoo, and all the money I wasted on other products.
Lastly, I have noticed that even when I use conditioners that are not the matching Alterna Seasilk Caviar Moisture conditioner, this shampoo still works to make my hair shiny and silky. It also works beautifully on my five-year-old's unruly curls.
Buy the large size to save on the per-ounce cost. I swear, you will LOVE this shampoo.
