Comments: There are several things that i love about this straightner. I have wirey hair that I have had a difficult time straightening with other flat irons. This one cuts my straightening time in half. The 1.25 size is perfect. The plates are rounded on the edges so that I don't end up with kinks. They also make it easy to flip my hair if that is the look I'm going for. I also like the swivel cord and that it doesn't automatically shut off on its own. Other brands would shut off in the middle of my hair styling - very frusterating. When I have finished using this product, my hair is straight, shiny and smooth.

I use this flat iron with other paul mithchell products, the instant moisture shampoo and I combine a bit of the instant moisture and super skinny conditioners together. I spray the heat seal and put some of the super skinny serum and quick slip balm before blow drying. I just blow dry quickly then I flat iron by small sections. It takes me about an hour but i have tons of hair and medium length. This saves me a trip to the hair salon since I used to go get it blow dried every week! I'm a big fan of paul mitchell hair products since I've been going to the paul mitchell salon for a couple of years now. I also get the PM shine treatment every 4 months to hydrate my hair. The Iron heats up very quickly and it doesn't burn my hair or dry it out too much. I highly recommend getting some of the products I mentioned above to protect your hair from the heat. I'm in love with this iron and wouldn't go anywhere without it!

Comments: This flat iron is a good styling tool, but it should be great since it is from Paul Mitchell. I expected better as a professional I need the best of the best. The Pual Mitchell flat iron that has the green ceramic plates in the middle is way better and cheaper! Pros: Heats fast and gets really really hot! Cons: Pulls the hair and does not grip the hair as well as other paul mitchell flat irons.
