Avlon Affirm 5 in 1 Reconstructoris a unique blend of micro and macrofibrous conditioners that is applied immediately after rinsing the relaxer from the hair and before the Normalizing Shampoo. While substantive conditioners are deposited well within the hair fiber, the hair is restored to its normal pH of the hair. (NOTE: Deep conditioning is still possible at this time because the upper mantle of the hair is still alkaline--approximate pH of 10.0--and the cuticles remain partially open). For use on damaged, fine or limp hair. Also recommended as a deep penetrating moisturizing conditioner for regular salon reconstructive treatment services. Available in Gallon, 32 fl. oz. (pictured) and 16 fl. oz. sizes.

The thing most salons forget

I love the reconstructor product because helps keep the hair strong after the relaxing process. I also love that it has two different uses, it can be used after relaxing before shampooing or you can use it as a deep conditioning product. And it smells great!

Stopped breakage

Hmmm, I used this reconstructor a few years back and I remember that it was gentle enough to use weekly, (I used it every 2 weeks however) and found that it made my relaxed hair fairly strong. When my hair was breaking like crazy and I couldn't seem to fix it, I gave this reconstructor a try and to my surprise, after 2 treatments with it, the breakage began to subside. I didn't like the consistency of it though. It was sort of tacky, sticky and stringy and I think that is what made me stop using it ultimately. If my hair did start breaking again and what I am currently using stops working, I would definitely give it another try.

I just discovered this product and it is amazing! It makes your hair feel so healthy after a relaxer. I will be trying other Affirm products. Glad I tried it!

This is the darling of my purchase. My preference my worship. I have always suffered with hair loss. One thing that any human being depressed and more to us women. My hair was very thin, fragile and brittle. When out of the shower my hair it appeared so dreadful. And when you buy this product was not very safe. Because actually the first time I saw him. But it's magic, they have to prove yourselves. After 30 minutes spent lying have told me, I started to comb my hair before rinsing and saw wisps drawn. My hair was thick and strong ... I could not believe it. My family suffers from the same and I thought and buy several bottles and send them to my country. I recommend this product to your eyes closed. Thank God and thank you for returning sleekhair confidence and security.

I have used this product on both my mother and sister who have had tons of breakage. They now four weeks later have seen a difference in the breakage and the strength.
Works best with heat under hooded dryer.

The Avlon Affirm 5 in 1 Reconstructor is a wonderful product.
I cant understand why salons dont use it right after they wash your relaxer out.
Salons have lost my business due to me being able to purchase the proper products from SLEEK HAIR.COM Now I can care for my own hair at home without having to have someone that I'am paying get an attitude because I requested them (stylist) to use products which will promote healthy hair growth

The best reconstructor that I have ever tried. I used it after relaxing my hair and could feel the difference.

I've tried this product in the past, and had great results. However, for some reason, I'm not getting good results from the use of Affirm 5 in 1 Reconstructor anymore. I've tried it twice, and I'm patient enough to try it one more time with the hopes that the 3rd time will be a charm and my hair breakage will cease.

This conditioner requires one to have some patience but the results are worth the wait. After using non professional conditioners for years, I have learned my lesson. This conditioner prevents breakage, eliminates fizzed hair ends and stops future damage to hair.

This product is pretty good. I decided to buy it because it mentions giving body to fine hair. It did that for my fine hair. I deep conditioned with this for 20 mins with heat then I let it cool for 10 mins. When I rinsed, my hair felt soft and moisturized.

I have very thick, long hair (down my back) and my hair dresser has always used the Affirm products on my hair with wonderful success. I moved away and decided to do my hair myself and I get the same great shine, softness and texture that I did when my hairdresser did it. I'm so glad sleekhair.com carries all the product line, especially the 5 in 1 Reconstructor which, unlike the previous reviewer, leaves my hair very soft with no breakage or dryness. I even us a semi-permanent hair color at the same time I do touch-ups, which is every 6 to 8 weeks. In between touch-ups, I wash my hair and use Affirm's 5 in 1 Reconstructor those times as well.
