Kevin Murphy Hair Curlers lets you add some oomph to your hair with these new hair rollers.
Finally, the rollers I have always wanted but could never find. These curlers have tiny hair like ridges that feed hair evenly onto the surface. They have circular vents that improve air circulation for even cooling and a smoother wave.
Add some oomph to your hair with Kevin Murphy's new session rollers. Each curler is apx 3.6" x 1.8".
Use: Put them in your hair when it is 50% dry, blow dry and leave in place for 20 minutes for curl heaven.

These remind me of the rollers my mother had (and I'm 45) when I was young. The only difference I found was the end cap was a ball rather then a flat cap that sits "in" the roller. Overpriced for what you are getting -- they have been added to my collection of rollers that are not quiet right -- sponge rollers(loose their shape -- can't roll tight), magnetic rollers(slide out), brush rollers(get stuck), Murphy rollers (leave lines), bendy rollers (their OK if you want the tousled look). Overall disappointed -- can someone please design a decent roller. Also the Murphy rollers were not large enough for my (slightly longer then) shoulder length hair -- my hair probably wrapped six or more times aroung the roller.
Pros:
the small comb on the roller -- hangs onto the hair like a brush roller -- but not nearly as tangle prone -- the comb could stand to be 3 times taller though.Cons:
This is an O.K. roller compared to what is out on the market -- I think I own every type of roller on the market -- they all seem to be lacking.LostCat

I used these for the first time today and I really liek them. I can tell that they may take time for me to get the exact science to them but I know that once I do my hair will look great.
I think they are veru light weight and they don't get in the way. My hair was a little bit frizzy but the ones that came out smooth looked great. I would buy more of these.

Loved these rollers...easy in and easy out. My only problem is that with my very fine hair, I had to secure a few with a bobby pin. I did sleep in them one night with no problem tho.

The WORST curlers I've ever used. thank God I only got 4 of them. These are meant for very short hair...because if you have long hair like I do...they give ZERO body. Plus..impossible for them to stay in without hanging down. It would have helped if the diameter of the curlers were mentioned!

These curlers will give MAX curl, I suggest getting help from your stylist on how to use them. Also, they were a bit too small for my very long hair

I used the curlers a few times so far and I'm still trying to find the best combination of time, hair wetness/dryness and product. Overall, I'm pretty happy with them. My hair is very straight and very fine. The article in Lucky said to put the curlers in your hair after washing and when your hair is 50% dry followed by using the dryer on your hair in curlers. This method did not seem to work for me. It seems like I need to wait until my hair is almost completely dry, using a styling gel and leaving them in for as long as possible, blow drying and spraying with hair spray before and after. I'm usually trying to do my hair before work, so I haven't had a chance to experiment yet on leaving them in for a really long time.
They seem to create great volume, which is something I always need however I have yet to figure out how to get the beachy, textured waves that I want!

I purchased these curlers because they were supposed to be easier to use - I was trying to cut down on the time it takes to roller set my hair. I have relaxed, long hair. I used these curlers on damp and dry hair. On damp hair, I used them to roller set my hair, rolling the curlers over my hair, and then went under a hood dryer. It took less time to secure the curlers and it was easier to do than the traditional magnetic rollers with clips but the curlers were not really taught (i.e., held tightly). The curls came out good though but I blow dried the roots after. I used them on dry hair (without heat), rolling under, and didn't get much curl. I would recommend using them on damp hair and then blow drying. Overall, it's pretty good for a quick set (if you're short on time). I'll continue to use magnetic rollers on my hair for my roller sets because they're cheaper and I get more body with them than these.

The curlers work great, are easy to use, and don't leave unwanted creases in your hair. If you have thick or long hair you will need more than one box as 12 curlers won't be enough to cover your whole head.

When i purchase this, i thought they were hot rollers...i was planning on returning them because i dont have the patience to sit and roll my hair. i decided to give it a try...roll it up section by section(start rolling the top part of ur hair first then the bottom half). Slept with them overnight..(yes a little uncomfortable but still slept well). In the morning i removed the rollers..put some hair spray and scrunch my hair a bit. it came out AMAZING. it wasnt curly like spirals..it gave me the "BEACH WAVE LOOK" which i love since i have such fine hair...i recieved so many compliments..it lasted all day. The best purchase i ever made.
