Kevin Murphy Fresh Hair Dry Cleaning Spray
A “dry cleaner” for the hair that gives body and the look of freshly washed hair, removes odours and all your sins from the night before.
Can be used as a texturiser for modern, matte looks. Contains fragrant oil extracts of Cassia and Orange Flower. When using a dry shampoo don’t think of it as a hairspray. It’s not for all over, you want to go for a light spray “on the roots, hair line and part line” ONLY, this will avoid the dusty look and remember to either rub with a towel or brush after using.
Use: Apply a fine mist onto dry hair and rub with a dry towel.

Like another reviewer, I have the Brazilian Blowout treatment and like to extend the time between having to wash and blow dry my hair. Having tried so many dry shampoos, I had another favorite but it always left a residue on my scalp and if I scratched my scalp my nails were full of the stuff! I discovered Fresh Hair and love it. It does not leave a residue on my scalp, adds volume (big plus) and can extend my need to shampoo and blow dry for about 7 - 8 days, that is great. There is a whitish color that shows when first sprayed, I have dark blonde hair, but you are supposed to rub the product through your hair, then brush out, that should remove any trace of the whitish color. I have used this up to 2 times in an 8 day period, first after 4 dayd then agin in another 3 days, my hair looked just as nice as the first day. All these dry shampoos having overwhelming smells when you are spraying on your roots but it will pass and leave your hair smelling clean, I would agree the scent is somewhat vanilla with a hint of lemon. I am very sensitive to smells and this doesn't bother me at all.

This product does not seem to make my hair look less oily. I still feel dirty, and by all means not "fresh." It just puts a powder coating on your hair that makes you look like you're hair is turning gray. I felt old after using this product.

Before purchasing this item, I had read some reviews about dry shampoo products leaving a white film on brown hair and because of those reviews I was hesitant but tried this item anyway! Glad I did, no white film on my medium brown hair, I just follow the directions and pat down the area after spraying. I've only used it a few times when in a rush in the morning, but its worked for me so far. Its a cool refreshing mist and breathes my blowout from the day before back to life. The smell is alright, but I don't love it...it could probably be better, a lemon/vanilla-ish scent, however it does the job and gets me by!

I absolutely love this Dry SHampoo. I have blonde hair, so it blends in nicely. I definitely recommend if you have dark hair to find another product or expect to spend some considerable time trying to work it in.

I bought this on the recommendation from my stylist - I had the Brazilian Keratin treatment done and was looking for a way to extend the time between washes. While the product's effects are better than most of the other dry shampoos I've tried (it lasts longer and I didn't need to use as much), like most aerosol versions it clogs and no longer sprays about 3/4 the way through the can. It also leaves a white residue but this is not as big a problem as I have blonde hair and if sprayed at night and brushed through before bed, the product still absorbs oil and the residue is less noticeable.
The biggest problem was the can not spraying when there was still a considerable amount of product left Ultimately I just started using cornstarch instead - just as effective and way cheaper.
