Just got this product and I've only used it once. I allowed the spray 10 minutes to rest on my hair before straightening to allow maximum absorption. Hair was soft, shiny, and stayed that way even overnight!Pros:
Easy to useRelatively inexpensive

I LOVED this product. My sister and I use it and it leaves our hair so smooth and shiny!... It also holds the style greatly. My hair is darker (black), thicker and wavier than my sister's. (I actually have a very wide curl texture). anyways, let me tell you that when I first used this CHI on my hair to straighten it, it gave me thee best results ever! My hair was softer, shinier and straighter than ever.
I dyed my hair red twice with those permanent dyes at Walmart and the CHI still left my hair soft and shiny.
BUT ONCE I BLEACHED MY HAIR
I had to stop using the CHI because it left it sticky, dry, and it felt burnt before and after hot tools =[
I darkened my hair and it still had the same effect.
I bleached my hair again then dyed back to black recently. (It's almost not damaged at all due to proper treatment, mind you...my hair did loose it's curly texture though..It's stick straight out of the shower and wavy when dry).
I started using a coconut styling oil to style it instead...that works for my now damaged hair like a miracle!
I only hate that when I shampoo my hair it feels so horribly burnt I wanna shave it all off.
So last week I was bored and used the CHI again to straighten my hair and I felt that beautiful softness I haven't felt in months on the 10 inches (my hair is 18 inches long) of hair that aren't as dried near the roots..So next month I'm going to chop off all that hair that feels horrible with the oil so I can go back to using the CHI iron guard!
My point is that this product is for healthy hair and to keep it healthy!!
Pros:
How shiny and soft it leaves HEALTHY HAIR after using hot tools and how it holds the style in like a moose.Cons:
Your hair is dried/damaged/bleached it WILL leave your hair dry, sticky, hard, and burnt looking right when you spray it on and even drier after u use hot tools.I would recommend this item to a friend.

The spray doesn't clog like other products. Really helps my coarse hair go straight with the hot iron.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I bought this item because I desperately needed a thermal protectant and Target just so happened to have been having a sale if you bought two of them. So I bought them both for $20 and gave them a chance since people are always raving about how "awesome" this product is. NOT! I dislike the smell and wet, stiff feel it gives the hair once it's on. After running my iron on the applied product, I hate how dry it makes my bleached hair feel..trust me, I've tried products that leave my hair feeling healthy smooth, but CHI 44 just accentuates the damage. =( Pros:

Best heat protectant ever! I use this everyday or everytime i straighten my hair and i must say this is the best one i've ever come across.I would recommend this item to a friend.

This product works well when using hot rollers or a curling iron. It is not for just blowing drying as far as adding body. Pros:
Great to help hold hair style when using heating instruments.Cons:

I agree with what other girls have said about the sticky feeling, so I apply it on damp hair, then blowdry it and then use my flat iron. I still feel the difference, my hair feels thicker and healthier, no split ends (I have fine hair). I would definately recommend.I would recommend this item to a friend.

My daughter is using this product, I have noticed her hair is alot healthier and soft. She uses a straightener and i started using it because I use the hairdryer. I hope to see more results as I continue to use it. Ive only used it for a couple weeks. It smells great.Pros:

I have dry ,relaxed and color treated hair and my sister in law let me use it.When i put it in my hair it made my ends look like i just got my hair cut.i actually had bangs that didnt look burnt for the first time!!who ever invented this is a genius.i recomend THIS TO EVERY ONE!!LET the hair dry and use a couple of mist on the ends and what section you really whant to style!!!! I've got the same complains that other girls here, this stuff made my hair sticky and i was afraid it could damage my Chi pink iron because the hair takes couple of minutes to dry, and i wasnt waiting long enough so you can imagine the awful sound of the hot iron on the wet recently sprayed hair, it ended up feeling stiff and smelling funny, but really is not our fault that we fail to use it, the directions on the bottle label say: section hair,spray evenly over dry hair and start using your heat tool from root to ends, i guess we just have to try diferent tricks to make it work and im going to follow the tips that are shared here and hope i get better results. That's why i only give 4 stars, 'cause my hair looked ok, but not great like with the chi silk infusium but i wanted to try something else so now i'll try to get it right.
