A must-have in my beauty regimen

By Jessica from Rosamond, CA on October 13, 2010
I straighten my hair with a dryer and then a ceramic flat iron. This is the best straightening balm I've ever tried. It doesn't make my hair feel greasy, and it lasts 3 days before my hair feels too heavy to keep going. This is a very light-weight product that tames the frizzees without weighing down. I love this and highly recommend it to anyone with frizzy or dyed hair (I have both) who likes to go straight.
Helps Tame the Humid Summer Frizzies

By Julia from Peoria, Illinois on October 13, 2010
During the middle of August in Illinois, 97 degrees F with a heat index well within the triple digits. A bit humid you might ask? Actually you wouldn't need to ask all you would have to do is take a look at my hair, that I have not so charmingly nicknamed 'the brillo pad'. Brillo would normally be in full bloom today, but thanks to Redken's two products, Align and Outshine, it is rather calm. Align is my newest item in my arsenal of hair products. It really seems to be working. Fingers crossed.
Will Not Buy Again

By Kandy from Milford, ME on September 29, 2010
This product doesn't provide what it claims to, and the floral scent is over-powering. I love Redken products, but not this one!Pros:
Non-greasy, leaves hair softCons:
Smells like perfume, doesn't provide control or reduce frizz.Ultra Straight

This product helps straighten my coarse, thick, curly hair.Pros:
Not greasy, able to use on wet or dry hair.Cons:
Gets sticky on hands.I would recommend this item to a friend.
Great product!

By Nicole from Scottsdale, AZ on January 29, 2010
Even if you don't want completely straight hair, this product is great to put in while hair is wet to tame any frizzies and create hold for curly or straight hair. I use it every day and love it more and more.Wonderful!

By Leigh from Bay Area on January 29, 2010
I have been using this for years and still love it! I have thick wavy hair that can easily be straightened with a flat iron, but tends to curl by the end of the day. This product keeps my hair straight for days without the ends curling. I can also use this without blowdrying and it reduces my waves so I don't have to flat... iron as much. This is one of my top products! Not my favorite

This product was too heavy for my hair. The consistency was too thick and weighed my hair down. Would not recommend for long hair. The BEST!

By PB from Miami, FL on October 29, 2009
this product is the best i have very thick hair and its waivy and i have tried so many products and by all of them this one is the best you have to use it on damp/wet hair then straighten out did not weigh my hair down at all myhair actually looked like those models on the cover of a magazine which you would never think i have waivy hair im buying this stuff by the dozen I LOVE THIS!

I had this product about a year ago, and it worked SO well! I admit, i don't have that great of a straightener, but using this product really really helps! Seeing how it worked when I had it, and now without it, I want to get it again! It dramatically takes away from straightening time, which helped me in the long run. My hair was that straight for at LEAST 7 hours. For the price, IT IS WORTH IT. TRUST ME!!!! I would recommend this item to a friend.
Very Heavy - Would not recommend

By Elizabeth from Howell, Michigan on October 25, 2009
This product is very heavy and while it does control the hair to a degree from frizzing when blowing straight and then flat ironing, it does nothing to condition the hair. It left my curly hair dull, lifeless and feeling like I had too much product in it (I only used less than a dime size for hair below the shoulder). I quickly went back to a lighter weight leave in conditioner that did a much better job.
