Via Crystal Ion Dual-Bristle Vented Styler has a special bristle pattern, uses alternating rows of tufted and regular bristles. This makes the brush pick up and control hair like a round brush, smooth the hair like a boar brush and yet they provide the speed of blow drying of a vent brush with the largest vents of any brush in the market. These are the original Ion generating brushes. They incorporate tourmaline resins in the bristling which causes the brush to generate negative ions when it is brushes through the hair. The ions atomize the water droplets making them small enough to penetrate and condition the hair. I have medium length hair and really like this brush. I don't believe in any of that "ionizing" stuff, it just is a nicely designed lightweight brush with large venting and the small amount of added bristles do help grip hair. My teenage daughter spied it in my bathroom and it must have been just what she was looking for too. She took it. and now I need to order another. Pros:
lightweight and good venting. Grips hair.Cons:
A round version of this would be even better for blow drying.I would recommend this item to a friend.

This styler makes my hair feel less frizzy and healthier.Pros:
It massages my scalp lightly when I run this through my hair.Cons:
It can get caught in the hair when drying and styling.I would recommend this item to a friend.
