I like this product, my nails look great using this with the top coat. The only problem is that sometimes this product lifts from my nails. I am not sure if it is my nails that cause this though because my Mom uses this with no lifting problems

I bought this along with negligee, top coat and cream puff and my nails were gorgeous after just one coat of all. I did a double coat of cream puff and the negligee and found it was better to just do one coat of all. I applied it in the following order: 1.base coat 2.cream puff 3.negligee 4.top coat. I cured it in between each coat and only used alcohol after the base coat and after the top coat. I also did a friends nails and it looked very professional and shiny. I also did my toes about a month ago and had no chipping yet. I had to send the dryer back because I had a problem with it so I'm waiting to redo my toes and they're holding out really good. My hands only lasted a week but that's because I was cleaning and it chipped. But it's better than paying 50 dollars every two weeks!! Removal was easy and my nails were not damaged at all.

Shellac is a UV light cured gel polish that lasts about two weeks. I have used OPI's Axxium gel polish and it destroyed my nails. I now use Shellac. This base coat goes on easily and cures quickly under the UV lamp. One item of mention is that to remove you need to use an acetone nail "wrap" for about 20 min to get the polish to come off easily. I make my own "wraps" by soaking cotton balls with acetone, placing the ball on my nail and covering with a 4 inch square of aluminum foil. Wait 20 minutes and the polish peels off like magic with no nail damage. Although this system takes more time compared to regular polish, it is long wearing under harsh conditions. The only reason you can't get more than two weeks out of a single coat of polish is because your nails will grow out.

Product received was too thick to use & brush was misshapen.

Received in what appeared as new packaging, however when I went to use the product it was thick and stringy and the brush could not be used. Very disappointed and will not purchase this product from sleekhair again.
