My experience with the item is positive, that is why I continue purchasing it. It is SleekHair.com that I have issue with. They shipped the WRONG product. I reported it 4 days ago and have NOT heard a word from them regarding getting the correct purchase.Pros:

Easy to use, only "extra" step (versus normal shampooing/conditioner) is the Scalp Treatment, and is quick and easy as well.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I started out using the Bosley line, but switched to Nioxin when I thought the Bosley stopped working. However, I ended up switching back to Bosley after using the entire starter kit of Nioxin. The product itself might be great for re-growth, but it made my hair so dry and tangled that I felt like I was losing more than anything. And I baby my hair and take extra efforts not to tangle, etc. I even tried combining this product with another shampoo and conditioner to add some moisture and detangling, but even the product you put on your scalp before drying your hair caused it to get dry and tangled while drying.Thicker, shinier hair - and maybe more of it!

I'm a thirty year old woman. About two years ago, I started seeing more and more hairs fall out every time I showered. It didn't concern me much because I had really thick hair, which I used to dye frequently with chemical dyes. After a while, I started looking for something to make it look thicker and slow down the loss, especially because that my mother and gmother had extremely thin hair later in life. I'd like to avoid that, if possible...a friend of mine who is a hair model recommended Nioxin to me. I've been using it about a month and these products really do make a difference. I don't have to do any additional styling or add any products, and my hair looks great. I don't even blow-dry anymore, and it looks shiny and styled. AMAZING! The stuff you apply to your scalp is a little sticky, but it works sort of like a mousse, if you do get anything in your hair instead of on the scalp. I did have to add their "Bliss" spray-on conditioner, because my hair is long and has always been likely to tangle, which made combing a pain.
I can't definitively say that it "makes" your hair grow. It does make it fall out a little more than usual at first, which definitely scared me. The website says that it's cleaning out the pores, which makes old, dead hairs fall out, so that new hair can grow in. (Gross!) The only reason I didn't get freaked out and stop using it is because it looked SO MUCH THICKER & BETTER!
Then, in the past couple days, I've noticed more tiny little hairs along my hairline. Yay! I've also been taking GNC Hair, Nails and Skin, so it really could be either product...or both. Anyway, it makes your hair look thicker and healthier, which is well worth the cost, at least in my opinion.
I saw an instant change in my hair when I first used it!

I have thinning hair so I bought Nioxin starter kit system 4 and have used it for several weeks. Now, I ordered more. I saw an instant change in my hair when I first used it. My hair became soft and fuller. I don't have any new hair growth yet, but I suppose it will take several months to see the actual results. That's why I bought more and will continue to use it for some time. The only issue so far is that I feel the need to use my old conditioner on my hair after I wash and treat with Nioxin because I have shoulder length dyed hair and it my hair gets tangled when it's wet if I don't use my old conditioner as well.
