Excellent! The coverage is great and enhances the hair's natural highlights making it next to impossible to tell that I color my hair. By using a color fast shampoo, the color lasts up to 4 weeks. I have short hair so every 2 weeks I do a slight touch up which is easy because I can use as much or as little as necessary.Pros:
Deep long lasting color.Enhances highlights.
I can use exact amount without waste.
Cons:
Still have to mix with developer.Getting the last little bit out of the tube.

I love Goldwell's colors! This blonde has great natural tones and does not look too brassy, blue, or yellow. A great, natural looking blonde.Pros:

Love this warm sunny blond color. Mixed a little 9A with this since I tend to pull red. I fell in love with the tournaline blond the minute I saw it. I am so happy I got this. This is the first time trying Goldwell on my own since my hairdresser moved away after 17 years. I got the same results doing this on my own as my hairdresser did. Very easy to use. I ordered this color to use on a friend who has grey hair primarily in her crown. We had previously tried a level 8 which did not cover the grey. However, this color came out so gorgeous! It covered her grey completely and the multi tonal effect is sensational in the sunlight or artificial light. We covered a light blonde and the resulting color was a beautiful reddish copper.Pros:

I did my reserch online for different dyes and goldwell seemed to be the best of the best. If you type in Goldwell Light Ash brown into youtube there's a review by a girl who tells you exactly what to do and how it looks. Her hair color is beautiful, and so is mine since I have used it. My hair was a reddish hue from a demi-perm dye and I couldn't stand it. Goldwell took all the red out becuase of the ash and left it a pretty brown. Left it on a little longer b/w 30-35 mins. Just make sure you deep condition your hair after you dye it to revitalize your hair cuticle and advoid dryness. I've gotten many compliments on my hair and I have to say sleekhair.com delievered quickly. This was my first time using the website and product and i will definetly be using both again. First time user experience with 5NN, 5BM, and 30 Volume Developer

My hair is a natural level 3, dark brown. I purchased Topchic colors 5NN and 5BM along with 30 Volume Developer. My goal was to cover about 10-20% gray and lighten by 1 level. Since this was my first time using this product, I did a patch test with 1 part 5NN, 1 part 5BM, and 2 parts developer (overall 1:1 color/developer ratio). I thought the color turned out too dark and blamed it on the 5NN (looked to be a level 3). So I then colored my entire hair with a 1:1 ratio of 5BM and developer and processed for 30 minutes. My hair was lightened to a level 4 with a nice beige tone with very little red (which I was trying to avoid), but the grays did not cover. I waited a week and decided to use the 5NN and developer on my entire head. The color did darken a bit, but is still lighter than my natural color, and grays were 100% covered. However, I now think my hair has a VERY slight violet tone, which was not present with the 5BM. Each time I colored, my hair was left healthy and shiny.Overall, I preferred the color of 5BM. I plan to continue using the product, but maybe swapping the 5NN for a 6NN, and I will try a ratio of 1 part 6NN to 2 parts 5BM to 3 parts developer.

I used 7G with 10 vol developer for the first time today. It was easy to prepare in the bowl and went on nicely. It's certainly not as offensive as others I've tried. However, it came out on my hair WAY too ashy and WAY too dark, which is really disappointing. I had been somewhere between a level 8 and 9 to start and wanted to go a bit darker for the Fall. Next time I'm going to try the 8RB. Overall, this is a great color to use, my hair feels great, shiny and healthy.Pros:

I used Goldwell Topchic in color 5N with the 10 volume Goldwell developer lotion with a brush and bowl application. I applied to my regrowth for 35 minutes (no heat) and pulled through my ends for the last 5 minutes (40 minute process time total). My color is even and natural, a great dark brown (my hair was previously a level 5). My grays have been covered (I am about 25% gray) and my hair is shiny and healthy looking. Will purchase Goldwell again. Pros:

I bought 4n and used the 10 percent goldwell developer, left it on for 40 min and my hair is dark brown with a small amount of red highlights. My hair is so soft. I use fekKai shampoo and conditioner for colored hair to protect my colorI would recommend this item to a friend.

I use Topchic tube 9G and get the most vibrant golden blonde ever! I have long hair and a lot of gray. The gray is covered perfectly and my hair looks and feels shiny and so very soft. Goldwell in Australia has become so expensive a lot of salons are not carrying the brand any more.I am a Hair dresser and found buying wholesale was getting too expensive too as I like to experiment with different colours.I am so happy I have finally found Sleekhair their prices and service is second to none.I will back for many years and I am sure my colleages and friends will follow!! I have light copper colored hair. The color I had used for years was discontinued and for month I was unsuccessful at finding a great color. This product is so much better than the drugstore hair colors that I have tried in the past. It smells better and leaves my hair much softer than before I colored it. I ordered 6k Brilliant Copper and the color works BEAUTIFULLY with my hair giving it shine and deep color. I am over 50% grey and this gives me back the color I had as a teenager. Love it! I've used Goldwell in the past from a salon (as it is difficult to find someone who can do an acceptable color for redheads.) I live in another small town where no salon carries Goldwell and have been deeply disappointed (even shocked!) at some of the pathetic attempts to give me the color I longed for. Now that I have found this site, I won't go anywhere else to do my own hair again. I used the 20 solution 11 and the results have been nothing short of fantastic! This is By Far The Best Hair Color Ever!!! I've always had my hair done by a professional salon, and to tell you the truth, I don't know what product they used. Im naturally a ash blond, and they usually put highlights and lowlights in my hair to make me a more pronouced blonded. However, lately I was pretty bored so I asked my stylest to do something different, and she made me a redhead. I didn't like it, the color and didn't know where to go from there. I was very happy to be able to buy Goldwell for myself from this great website; Hairdressers have used Goldwell and Redken on me and I always thought Goldwell was more natural looking. My natural hair is dark blonde with lighter blonde/gold highlights (like a level 7G), now with some gray on the top. I've been using L'Oreal 8A (otc from CVS) for the past year and found the level to be good, but overall results sometimes a tad reddish/goldy/brassy. I am looking for a more natural blonde result, so was excited about using Goldwell again thinking it would be truer to my natural. I used 8N mixed with 8NN (for gray coverage) in equal amounts. Mixed with equal amount of 20 volume Goldwell developer. I left on for 20 mins, then applied to rest of shoulder length hair for last 10 mins to cover the old L'Oreal color. Results: Overall color is a bit darker than the L'Oreal 8A. I was surprised to find the gray did not cover! Also noticed a less silky feeling (from the NN gray coverage, I suspect) Also surprised I got the same slightly brassy gold result very similar to the L'Oreal result. Am a bit frustrated. Am I doing something wrong? Any comments or constructive criticism would be very appreciated! I am going to have highlights professionally done next week.Pros:

I have been using this hair color for several years now. I have white out-growth every 3 or 4 weeks. This 7NN color covers beautifully and lasts. Buying it from Sleekhair allows me to use this color in my own home. I cannot purchase this at the normal stores because I am not a hair professional. Mixing Colors

Could someone PLEASE let me know how to mix the colors with the peroxide. I have three colors - how much peroxide should I be mixing in with the three colors. Do I use the same amount of peroxide as color? When my hairdresser does it, she gets a richer, deeper more permanent color. I need a professional 2 help me. I want 2 order the silk lift products. I always had a problem since i have some red undertones 2 my natural hair color, Which i havnt seen in years, I have always had 2 get my hair bleached 2 get a platium blonde. A hairdresser told me with the silk lift it would prcess up 2 7 levels. OK here is what i need 2 know With all the silk lift products which r 3 the developer and serum. Do i also get a platium color 2 add in it, Also can u tell me the lightest blonde that is the closest 2 platium i can get? I reall need some 1s help. I am sick with a muscle disease plus other illness, I had 2 quit going 2 beauty school over that and my dream is gone. I'm fairly new to coloring my hair. I had my hair dresser color my hair twice with Goldwell. Loved it from the beginning but we had used the demi which is a semi permanent color. The demi is nice but it doesn't cover stubborn grey as well as topchic does. Also since my hair has natural red undertones, I noticed that the color my hairdresser used (although nice) was producing too much red/brassiness that I didn't like, especially on the roots. So I decided to experiment on my own. With some research, and reading other comments, I finally found a combination of colors to get the shade I wanted without spending a fortune and without that brassiness. My natural color is a light to medium brown with some reddish gold highlights. My hairdresser used colors in the 6 range which I felt was too dark for me. So to lighten it up a bit and prevent too much red I used 1 tablespoon of 7NN (the NN's cover the grey), 1 and a half tablespoon of 7NP (which tones down the red) and 1/2 tablespoon of 7MB. I mixed it with the developer lotion 6%. I applied the color and at first got a little nervous because it started to look too dark. I let the color stay on about 20 minutes becasue my hair is pourous. I shampooed my hair with Moroccan oil shampoo and their conditioner which really moistorizes my dry hair. Then I dried it and I was very pleased with the results. I got a beautiful brown, no caramel or red looking roots, and my hair has a pretty light gold/red highlights. Pros:

Just answering a question. I color my grey roots 6NN. 6NN vs 6N is stronger grey coverage, since grey hair doesn't accept color as easily as normal pigmented hair. Hope that helps. Leave on a little longer as well, if necessary.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I love this product! I mix the 7NN with the 7MB for a brilliant brunette color. It covers my gray so well and is longer lasting than any other color. I will never by box color off the shelf again! This product was recommended to me by one of the best stylists I know. Love it~Awesome product! Pros:

I was wondering if 10 & 11 Gk is used just as a corrective color? I found this in a supply store very cheap and bought it without any knowledge of the color other than the results of it's level. Is it a yellow with a little orange tint? Possibility half & half? I'm a colorest and usually use only Schwarzkopf - Igora Royal and enjoy this product very much, but I would love to know more about Goldwell Color.Pros:

I love this product. The color was great and easy to apply. Covers grey well too. My hair feels so healthy and looks great. Delivery was excellent. It was at my front door with in a few days... The product was in excellent condition too. Will be ordering again in the near future.

Before coloring on my own, I went to the salon twice to ensure I got the Goldwell color most suited for me. Once you get the salon results you want, you can order the same color on you own. Easy to mix and apply--Goldwell color is beautiful and the product is so much better than that which most salons carry!Pros:

I loved this product! i tried the 12BN and 12BS (at different times) and loved the result. although the color did not come out like the picture it was still bright and pretty. I wanted a bright white all over and i got more of a goldenish blonde, even though im naturally dirty blonde. I do however recommend you use a 40 volume when using the blonde 12 series, it takes forever for the 30 to lighten that much. Also, it made my hair so soft! not even my conditioner makes it that soft! another plus was that the color is permanent, and wont just wash out after a week or two. i was tired of paying 150 per salon visit to get that perfect color just to have it fade after a week and a half. Also, keep using a purple shampoo/ conditioner to maintain that bright, bombshell blonde. Pros:

After going for several years to my stylist, I began using Goldwell at home as a recession-friendly way to touch up my roots. Goldwell provides the most natural looking color of any of the other products that I've tried. Folks are generally shocked when they find out my hair is not naturally a golden blond (not that I tell that secret often ;) ) I would recommend this item to a friend.

I've been using Goldwell for 7 years since changing salons. I have my hair colored in the salon 2-3 times a year and do touchups at home and my hair is always shiny and healthy looking. I have med/dark brown hair and use a mix of 7NN and 6NN to cover gray and get shiny hair that has depth. Because the color names/numbers aren't comparable to drugstore color charts, I recommend going to a salon for professional advice as to what color is best for you.Pros:

5N LIGHT BROWN IS VERY VERY DARK I

First time to try this product. Very dissapointed. Followed direaction, even left it on a few minutes less. The Light Brown hair i wanted is now almost black. Plan to call the 800# on the box to get their advise on what color will actually give me Light Brown. I'm hair is light burn, this black is looking too good. I've rinsed my hair in vinegar 3 times tonight to try to rid some of the color and either lighten it, this didn't work. Pros:

I like this product because I can customize the color. First, I only color my roots. My mid-light brown hair tends to turn that carmely colored, orangish redish color. I hate that color as it is an unnatural color and people can instantly tell that you color your hair. For my brown hair, I use 7NN or 8NN and add 1/2 as much of 8NP. The NP has green in it and will neutralize my tendency to turn orange. This keeps my hair a natural looking brown.
I then can highlight some blonde in it with a highliter and use the stronger developer (9%) with it to pull the blonde through. I need the stronger developer, otherwise the brown hair goes to orange and wont pull through to blonde.
I pass along these tips that helped me as I struggled for sometime with "wrongly" colored hair.

With 18 years in the buisiness and having worked with most color lines, I find Goldwell to be the finest with nothing in close second. There are a couple other lines that are quality, but the Goldwell emphasis on maintaining the health of the hair is unmatched. Wella's Koleston Perfect and Color Touch are fine quality, but not with the same finish as Colorance, the goldwell acid balanced color that is used to refresh your fadage and tone highlights. All other color lines are just high profile marketing dollars out to get a share of the market. IT's not a Coke vs Pepsi thing. Many colorists will tell you it's the colorist, not the color, and that is true in cases other than Goldwell. The proof is in the health of your hair and the longevity or your color over time. I forgot to buy developer to mix with the color; remember to buy the developer and the coloring tools.Goldwell gives the best coverage and they have so many colors where you can mix different colors for a nice cocktail!
