Beneficial for both hair and skin, this oil helps to retain moisture, improve elasticity and soften hair and skin, while also adding instant sparkle and shine. It’s excellent for taming frizzy hair and mending split ends, and when applied to skin it helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and blemishes.

John Masters Organics 100% Argan Oil is harvested and produced in Morocco by hand in the Argan forest, an International Biosphere. The production is carried out by a women's cooperative, which has established an ecosystem reforestation project to ensure sustainability and to protect the rare, endangered tree. The income generated is providing healthcare and education for the entire community.

Amazing!!! Saved my hair and face

So with all the Argan Oil hype I was curious but skeptical. There is always some fad oil or ingredient. But I had to see if everything I heard was true. Then I had to make sure the Argan Oil was not the last item on the ingredient list. Well this is far from that. This is 100% Argan Oil! and compared to others this is pretty price competitive. I use this on my hair after I wash it and before I apply my heat protector for blow drying. I also every couple days add it to the ends of my hair before I wrap my hair up at night. And I have noticed a huge difference. As an African American woman with relaxed hair I wash it once a week and usually by the time it needs to be washed either my ends are dry /frizzy looking or my hair is weighed down by product build up. Well not with this, it looks just as shinny as it did the day I washed it. And I have less breakage. I also use the oil twice a week on my face at night and my skin is baby soft by the morning. I highly recommend.. Believe the hype.

This product is amazing--I've tried this brand and Josie Maran, and their comparable, so I normally go with the cheaper one (John Masters). I use this oil on my face, neck, hands, elbows--anywhere really--and have been doing so for almost a year now. I used to get occasional adult acne, but actually haven't had any for months and months now. My skin looks and feels amazing: I get piles of complements on it and have stopped using most makeup products (like foundation, tinted moisturizer, etc.) because I no longer need them. I highly recommend adding this product to your daily regime--even if you're terrified of oils!

This is the way Argan oil should be sold -- 100% pure. Others are loaded with perfumes & other oils. They're all completely unnecessary. This is the absolute best for hair & skin. For the skin, add a drop or 2 to your favorite lotion or creme. Argan is greaseless oil so it doesn't harm fabrics. Try it & fall in love!

Cons:
No percentage of sales goes back to the Moroccan Berber women who harvest & process the nuts.

Wonderful for skin and curly hair

I bought the sample bottle at Sephora but will be purchasing the full size here at Amazon due to the great price. I have dry, curly hair that frizzes and as a curly, I'm also a product junkie. Lately I've been sticking to organic, all natural products and this one works really well. It has tamed my frizz and made my hair very soft. I like that it doesn't have silicons in it so that I can use my gentle, low sudsing shampoo. I've also been adding 2-3 drops to my moisturizer and or sunscreen and have noticed that my skin is much softer. It did not break me out at all but I have fair, combination skin so I'm not sure if it's just my skin type. The one major thing I noticed was that it's starting to smooth the mild crepiness on my neck. Nothing dramatic but the skin on my neck stays supple throughout the whole day. I'm not expecting miracles but this is a very effective moisturizer that is all natural. That's a win in my book.

Very emollient and silky oil, absorbs into my skin nicely

I really like this Argan oil. I am in my 50's and have pretty good skin but need a good moisturizer at night. I dab this all over my face and under eyes and it helps immensely with dryness. I also put a drop or two on the back of my hands to hydrate them. This would not be for young people with normal or oily skin, but for aging skin, I definitely recommend it.
