OMG! NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING - EXTREME BLUE BLACK HAIR
Like most of the emails I read, I too was trying this product (per Sally employee recommendation) in an effort to remove the orange brassiness from my hair. I have tried all the STOP RED / HALT RED & GOLD TONES, ETC you can find, and even doubled up on them to no avail. I have recently been using ASH colors which has helped. But between the different brands, one's Dark Ash Blonde might be another's Medium Ash Brown. It has been a real pain trying to get "happy medium". Then came this product. The sales clerk said it is used to maintain a good ash consistency and remove the orange. And what do you know ... ? Ta Dah.... Deep Royal blue black hair!!! EEEEEK!. My thirty eight year old daughter loves it. This is what she would do. But me, at 57. I DON'T THINK SO!!! SO NOW WHAT DO I DO? BITE THE BULLET AND GO BACK TO MY STYLIST, PAY THE $200 AND HAVE IT DONE RIGHT.
ProsYoung and hip persons would love this very unique Royal Blue Black color. I can blame it on Halloween instead of admitting it was a mistake.
ConsNo where on the box or instructions did it say to prepare for Blue/Black Hair. And I had mixed this with a Medium Ash color treatment. Or what to do in order to remove it immediately.

Too hard to balance
Used this to get rid of orange after lightening my hair, but ended up with dark denim, blue-black hair. I had to immediately use Color Vanish top try to get the blue out of my hair. There's still some blue, which I hope washes out soon as it's in splotches. I've tried to use this product before and had unpredictable results. Staying away from now on. If you want crazy color blue hair, this would probably work for you. Otherwise, as a "toner" avoid at all costs.
ProsWill give you blue hair if that's your goal
ConsToo unpredictable. Hair can go very dark very easily, and have unwanted blue tones (strong).

ok
Still haven't figured out how to use these mix tones properly so that they make an impact or a difference but don't look like crazy colors. There seems to be be a hard to achieve balance for me.

don't like
I got the cool blue colored one and it is very strong but I am never able to get a good balance in the mixture. It can turn hair blue very easily.

How can I get the color off my hair, its been a month My hair is dark blonde and the color said 24 washes. I liked it but know I'm tired of it.
Clairol sells a dye remover it's usually 10-14 dollars but it lifts all color that was applied to your hair safely.
