I love it
This reconstructor balm leave the hair very smooth and shine, hair professionals ask me before what do I use because they like how my hair manage, and is thick . One recommendation if you never used before, this balm is used in the shower for 5 min. and well wh just once a month vitamins or your hair will go bad or star losing hair, is really strong for damage hair. But i am so happy with this brand. My hair recovered very fast.
Prosis very good product overall. Once you try it you won't stop using it.
ConsProfessionals sometimes forget to tell you how to used. Is only once a month or it will not work.

Best ever
This is an absolute must in you arsenol of hair products! I use thise as step 2 and then follow up with the Joico Intense Hydrater. My hair feels like a childs hair instead of the thick course hair that it is. My hair has never been healthier or more shiney. As a matter of fact it doesn't even feel or look like my hair anymore. LOVE IT!

Excellent protein treatment
I have long, fine hair and the Joico K-Pak system has transformed it. I use this weekly as a protein treatment and it leaves my hair full of body and bounce.

Hair Restoration JOICO K-PAK
This recovery procedure relates to the interior treatment, and is positioned as "an exclusive treatment" hair, which can only be done by specially trained master. But in fact, in the procedure it is no big deal and it can be done successfully on their own. If desired, the products of this procedure can be purchased individually, not in the set, and means the volume can be varied at will. Also these tools can be used each solo, rather than in the procedure, which is convenient. Comments on each of them before I left, they dismantled the compositions of each of the funds: - re-enactors - hydrator - Siler Let's go back to the proper procedure. It consists of four simple steps. Stage 1 - hair washing deep-cleansing shampoo. It is proposed, of course, use the "native" shampoo, but I usually take Fekkai rarely or similar purpose. Stage 2 - on the hair with a towel pressed applied Cuticle Sealer. This kind of "converter", which returns chemically treated hair, whose pH is shifted to the alkaline side, the inherent balance of healthy hair. Hair nothing covered, heat treatment is not necessary. Again, we wait for 5 minutes and wash off. Step 4 - hydrator is applied to the hair, again for 5 minutes. The hair is then rinsed well with water, they are dried and stacked.                                                                      Textures funds Due to the difference in density, they are consumed at different rates. The highest rate in enough liquid sealer, available in the few emollients and so well absorbed by the hair. Quite a decent rate and reconstructor due to "whipped" texture. Hydrator spent quite sparingly.                                                                         Impression My delicate clarification of hair this system is not too "like", after all 4 funds they hang dull and lose their luster. I suspect that much of the blame lies with the re-enactors, which included full mineral oil. This "therapeutic" effect of the system on my hair is much less noticeable than on prosthetics L'anza or Redken Chemistry, that after one treatment, after a few.
Pros+ Ease of use. In comparison, for example, with happiness for LEBEL hair stages are much smaller and do not need anything else to warm up, apply the layers, etc. + Tools can be used in various combinations, as well as solo.
Cons - As a part of reenactors much mineral oil, which does not suit all hair types

I love this
I've been using it for years! i use it with every wash in place of conditioner because I have curly hair and conditioner tends to weigh my hair down and pulls the curls out.
ProsSmells great! Conditions without weighing hair down.
ConsNo cons at all

Hated
This was not good, at least for me. Not moisturizing nor strengthening. Okay scent. Recommend other masks. Disappointed, not recommended.

Fabulous!
I use this after shampooing for 5 minutes or more, then rinse and put the Joico Hydrator on to add moisture. This combo is heaven for maintaining and helping to fix dry, damaged hair. I use once a week and it makes your hair feel so nice! I only do once a week though, so I don't get protein buildup. Highly recommend these two for awesome hair!
ProsSmells fabulous! Makes hair feel strong and smooth!
ConsYou have to shake the bottle before dispensing as it's a bit chunky and watery. But shaking helps with this. Just be prepared when you pour, it's not as thick as you think it would be. Not a big deal, just something to prepare for.

Is this safe to use on vivid hair colors? I have purple hair and did not want to have to worry about the color fading from this. As you can imagine my hair gets damaged quite often and looking for something that is good for the hair that will help give moisture.

Can you use k pak shampoo and conditioner every time you wash your hair or is it too much protein? I also use the k-pak reconstructor once a week.
I like the reconstructor, it's so great for your hair. You can't use it every shampoo though or I feel like my hair gets too brittle and stiff with excess protein. I don't know about the k pak shampoo/conditioner, but I use a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner and the protein treatment occasionally

The KPak reconstructor should not be used every week. Once a month if you are using moisture based shampoo and conditioner throughout the month. I have heard of people using the Kpak shampoo and conditioner weekly, but I wouldn't suggest that. Maybe alternate that with a moisture based shampoo/conditioner one week and then the kpak shampoo/conditioner the next. You can test any method you want until you find a routine that works for you hair.

Yes, you can. If your hair is damaged, it is usual use of this product. Shampoo and conditioner is not designed to intensive recovery it do only reconstructor and hydrator. So you do not get too much protein.

I have heard amazing things about this product from magazines. What exactly does it do and for what type of hair ?
I used this product when I decide to transition from relaxed hair to natural. This product helped me retain length by preventing breakage. Although I am no longer transitioning I used this product one a month as part of a deep condition treatment for my natural hair. I think this product is one of the better protein reconstructors. Well worth the money.

How does thisdo you apply is product & is this protien treatement that would be used at a salon?
If you ask how large doses of the product should you use it depends on hair length. I have shoulder length hair and does not use much of it. When it comes to questions about the product can be used in the salon is my answer - Yes. It was my hairdresser who has recommended the product for me and I do not regret that I have bought it. My hair was dehydrated and began to break very easily from coloring and styling. Since I started using this product, I have much healthier hair and think that the product has prevented further damage.

You can use this product yourself. After shampooing apply small amount of Reconstructor on towel-dried hair on 5 minut. Then rinse. Then you can dry your hair or use Hydrator as a deep recovery system.

how often should i be using this product? after shampooing my hair, should i condition first, then use this product or condition after?
I don't know what type of hair you have, but I can tell you my experience of this wonderful product with my hair. I have very thin fragile hair with some natural curl in it. This is one of the few conditioners I've tried that doesn't weigh my hair down! I use it as both a daily conditioner for a short time (3-5 minutes) after shampooing, and as a deep conditioner. When deep conditioning, I towel dry texcess water off, apply conditioner, cover with a shower cap (or Saran wrap if in a pinch! Lol), then cover with a towel to help hold your body's natural heat in to help the conditioner penetrate. Even after a deep condition, it still doesn't weigh my hair down, which for thin hair like mine is a miracle!! I love this stuff and highly recommend it! Good luck! : )

It depends of your hairs type. If your hair is hard damaged, you can use this product once a week. Conditioner, if you need to use it, is applied after reconstructor.
