Did not Like...
Though it didn't flake it didn't hold my edges down either. I've used Cream of Nature Argan Oil Edge product with much better results. I love KeraCare's line but this particular product will not a repurchase item for me.

I like this product it work the best so far on my rough edges but it does get white and caky after a few uses. But I just wet a towel and rinse my edges with water and reapply.
ProsHold great
ConsLeave hair white and caky after a couple of uses

Just fine thank you
I used this product about a week or two before I relax my hair to straighten out the new growth when my hair is pulled back. Just a little applied to the front hairline and back goes a long way and it works.
ProsDoes not leave any residue or gel like appearances.

Short and Neat
This Item is a great solution for short, neat styles. I switched from another similar product that has been discontinued by manufacturer. My hairdresser selected this product as an alternative. It works well but is not as easy to apply and takes a bit longer to dry. It is certainly better than what was on the market 10 years ago. I will continue to use this one because it appeared to be the best game in town.
ProsClears color. No build up or residue left on hair. it works.
ConsApplication is not as smooth and easy as other product I have used. Just takes some practice.

does this product cause any hair breakage around the edges
Oh No it didn't take my hair out around the edges, it actually made the hair around my edges thicker, I would recommend this Kera Care product to anyone who would like to use it.

No breakage at all I use it for smoothing edges when I braid hair and when I just want to lay it down I love the fact that is is non greasy and works soo well on my edges.

This is the best product I have ever tried for my edges....there is no breakage on my edges, as a matter of fact I am trying to grow back my sides and they are filling in well. I call this my modeling gel when my hair is frizzy on the edges I just add a little KeraCare Edge Tamer and it gives me the hold that I need all day. It's a life saver for the in between perm time. I would recommend this product you don't need a lot to get a lot:-) enjoy

KeriCare Edge Tamer has never caused any breakage around the edges of my hair; as a matter of fact it has only smoothed and enhanced not only the edges of my hair, but also my entire hair. Because I use it sometimes to twist my hair, my hair has a healthy glow and shine to it. Many people have asked me what product am I using to get that healthy glow, and shine look, and of course I always recommend the KeriCare Edge Tamer as well as some of the KeriCare products.

What is the best way to apply this product?
The best way to apply the edge tamer is to use a small tooth bush to smooth your edges down.I love this product it makes my edges look as if I got a fresh perm.

First, a small amount goes a long way. I take a pea size amount and apply directly to the part of the edge that needs taming. Continue smoothing with finger until the product is gone. Next, I wet a soft brush and brush the area with the product. I use the product about 3 times a week.

does this product cause the hair to draw back?
this product was amazing. it slicked my edges down which is what I wanted it for. A friend of mine had the product so i had a chance to use it before buying it myself. loved it. didnt use it all and after a few months it dried out, but other than that it works great, better than gel and didn't cause draw back for me. hope that helps :)

If by 'draw back' your meaning to slick, yes. But it's not like a 'holding' gel. Once it warms, it's just like grease. I use Macademia gel now, by Carol's Daughter. Much better.
