The product is a good product, I use it all the time on my clients and they are very happy with the result. The only thing is because the product was shipped to the UK I incurred a further cost for the duty tax. I already paid triple more for the shipping than the other company I use, because they include the duty tax in their shipping costs, so be careful how much more it will cost you. I contacted sleek.com about this but they have not replied to my email, what a surprise!!!
ProsThe result, it leaves the hair frizz free, straighter, shiny.
ConsThe bottle and shipping costs more than the other company I normally use

    Awesome!!
The smell was a little overwhelming and it was a bit time consuming but the results are well worth it! You can purchase the iron at stylebell.com for a pretty reasonable price.

My client with platinum blonde hair and very frizzy. It looks so much better after we did this treatment on her. She has such sleek, shiny, smooth hair. Her color looks better to. I would recomend this to anyone....

    I have new, wonderful hair!
I did this at home with help from my husband. The smell is a bit overwhelming, but not worse than a perm, IMHO. We followed the directions to the letter and waited the dreaded 3 days before washing my hair. My curly hair (think Julia Roberts) is now almost stick straight. I still have a bit of body, but the curl is gone. I have washed twice and my hair has remained just as straight as immediately after we applied the treatment. My hair is soft, managable and shiny. The color (red) was not changed at all (and I color my hair). I will definitely re-purchase!

    Great!
I had this done today. I haven't washed it yet-since you have to wait 3 days-and i am dying to pull my hair back. But my hair is very fine in texture but very curly (would've been a knock out in the 80's-think band hair!) i've straightened my hair before with expensive iron's and product but its ALWAYS frizzy and looks like cotton candy when its being made! My hair is soooo smooth with lots of Shine- and i have blonde hair which doesn't reflect light. i feel like a model in the patene commercials! So far so good. The down side was that it did make my eyes water, no worse than when blows in them. the smell was not that bad- no worse than color or bleach. but the salon price was steep- $300! and thats not with the shampoo conditioner and product i bought after in the salon ($60 worth). But so far i am loving it! if anyone knows where to get the iron please let me know!!!!! I can't keep my hands out of my hair! i can actually run them throught it! NO FRIZZ!!!!

I usually do highlights on my hair. Can I have highlight after the treatment with this poduct? ( item #25810- keratin treatment for highlightedhair) Best crystal
I am not a hairdresser, but I think the answer is no because I have had the treatment done on myself by my hair salon 3 times and they ALWAYS suggest I do the color FIRST. It can be done immediately before the keratin treatment with good results. In fact I spoke with a coppola rep once while I was being treated and he talked about how the color comes first, then this treatment afterwards. I think the bleaching may actually have a negative effect on the Keratin treatment if done afterwards - You have to wait 2 weeks or so after the Keratin treatment before bleaching again.... I'd suggest consulting a professional of course, but just so you have some kind of answer, I thought I'd just pass along what was told to me....
