love it!
finally! the orange over tones are gone, this works on my dark brown, level 9 hair with red under tones. of course i must use 40 volume developer and leave it on 90 minutes . not a problem when the results are such a beautiful color.

Ok
Years ago mega blonde hi lift was one of my favorites. But now I have other brands I prefer. but on some clients this is excellent for no red/orange hue. But not all individuals.

Unbelievable lift for blonding without bleach
Every 2-3 months I go to get the "works" from my colorist....highlights, lowlights and my base. In between, one of my clients was doing my base roots for me in return for my tax services. While out of town, an acquaintance, also a hairdresser, offered to do my roots so off we went to Sally's. Yes, I was nervous. I'm not terribly impressed with their line, but that's just me. Well, we found this L'Oreal Maxxi Blonde product that claimed to lift 4 levels; I'm mixed with brown, gray and white so we figured why not try it. We settled on this shade as the swatch looked about right (though one must really know the colors one is working with, lifting levels and whether to go warm, cool, neutral or mix them) and so we grabbed it and the developer that was made to go with it. It takes about 45 mins to process but it worked out very, very well. I was more pleased with this shade than with any base my colorist had given me in a while (though her work is genius) and it did the job. It doesn't perfectly color the white near one temple and near my center forehead but it was good enough as the rest of my hair looked great. We used it the first time this past summer (2012) and I just did it again about 10 days ago myself (also a licensed hair stylist and a CPA) and the same great results again; I received more compliments than last time! Soon, I WILL need to get a full workover but I love that this line gives me great relief in between. It works well, is affordable AND, if need be, I can absolutely do it myself. You can't go wrong with 4 levels of lift, the right shade and 45 minutes. YEAH!
