Horrible-Do not buy!
I have been ordering hair color from Sleek Haiir for the past couple of years. I always go with Redken 4BR/3BR. This time they were out of it, so I decided to take my chances with Paul Mitchell. It is the same price point and had a lot of great reviews. I am SO disappointed with this purchase... I don't even know where to start: - Quality is so cheap - color didn't even mix evenly in the bottle, so I had to mix by hand. - It grabbed on to my hair for the dear life, I couldn't wash it off after two weeks, it kept bleeding color. Even ruined my bedding. I would not recommend this product to anybody. I am going back to Redken.

Overall a good product
Overall I like this color line. The brunette shades do contain gold tones which I personally don't like, but your hair does come out shiny and the color lasts pretty well.

damaged tube :(
Got damaged tube of Paul Mitchell hair color. As my order was on hold I have no time to return (returns take a lot of time to be processed). Dissapointing! Probably the stuff who was packing my box shoul have checked if everything was sealed. Not recommending to use Sleek Hair!

Hi Paul Mitchell Team: My name is Fatima and I have used Paul Mitchel for years now, I have a client and her hair is gray 90 percent supper resistant I am using 7N for the bottom and 7WC with a 20 volume but it never takes completely it always shows lighter. Even if I had a little 6N in the mixtures for her regrowth. Today I just purchase 7N +7wc and 6 cc. I will color her hair tonight IIs it better to do double process and leave both on under the dryer for 45 minutes ?
The shadows with mark "N+" mean extra coverage for over 50% gray hair neutral looking end result. For best coverage on grey hair use 20 vol. developer. Don't use the heat.

I have a client that has PM shines 1B on her hair and now wants a rich dark chocolate brown. Will this color lift and how should I go about doing this?
You can not make previously colored hair lighter with this product - you have to use special bleached products for that.

I'm confused.. I use 6n in other brands.. Have a good amount of gray.. What is the difference between the 6n, 6nb, 6nn and 6nplus? One says natural and one neutral.. What is the difference.. I'm a brunette that uses 6n neural in other brands.. Have fair skin and don't want to be too dark but need good gray coverage. Thanks Chris Schnell Cs53@aol.com
The shadows with mark "N+" mean extra coverage for over 50% gray hair neutral looking end result. For best coverage on grey hair use 20 vol. developer. 6N contains only natural pigments, 6nb - 70% of natural and 30% of beige pigments

What happened to the Paul MItchell Permanent Hair color 5N? It's been out of stock for months. It seems that all the popular colors ending in "N" are out of stock. Is that color discontinued? And if so, what is a compatible color?
You can choose the Color 5NA - Light Natural Ash Brown - it contains 70% of natural pigments and 30% of Ash pigments (the result will be a little more ash then with 5N) OrThe Color - 5NB - it contains 70% of natural pigments and 30% of Beige pigments (the result will be a little warmer then with 5N)
