love it
The Quantum Platinum Perm does an excellent job adding body to my very straight, fine, and highlighted hair. I have used this product many times and have been satisfied with the results.

Works great on double processed hair
used this on my hair that was bleached several times and then dyed red. my hair is naturaly curly but now had an uneven curl pattern so i permed my hair hoping to get an even curl pattern. my curls are now even and i did not have any breakage or damage. At first my hair was a bit dry for a few days after but after a few deep conditioner and protein treatments my hair is soft shiny and curly again.
Prosgentle on delicate hair easy to used the smell wasnt as strong as other perms

Quantum Platinum permanent for
I have been using this permanent for about 10 years. I color my hair and I can use this permanent without drying my hair out. This permanent is for tinted, hightlighted or bleached hair There is a conditioner that comes with this permanent that you use before the permanent. I highly recommend this permanent.
ConsThere is nothing I dislike about this permanent.

Quantum Platinum Perm - One application
It would have been nicer if customers would have been informed that there wasn't any perm papers included in the kit. People are used to having these perm papers as a common item in the kit.

I have white (gray) hair which tends to yellow following a curly perm. Can you please recommend a Quantum perm which is best for white hair? I have used a perm designed for silver hair, and the results were disastrous leaving my with cotton candy pink which I de colorized to canary yellow and finally back to my bright white. As you may have gathered, not too much perm was left. Thanks so much. Best, Toni

I'm looking for a very light perm. My hair is not colored but I am 74 and afraid of burning my hair. Is this the softest in you line of perms?
It was designed for bleached, double-processed, high-lift tint, heavily highlighted hair It is good for gentle waving on fragile hair.

1. SHAMPOO. Gently shampoo hair with clarifying shampoo and towel dry. 2. APPLY PRE-TREATMENT. DO NOT MIX WITH WAVING LOTION. Apply Pre-Treatment. Work through hair. Leave in hair for 1 minute (up to 5 minutes for more porous or fragile hair). Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Towel blot. Leave hair damp. 3. WRAP. Block damp hair into sections and wrap. Do not wrap with Waving Lotion. If hair dries, lightly mist with water. Wrap smoothly with minimal tension. 4. APPLY WAVING LOTION. Place cotton around hairline and towel at the nape of neck. Puncture tip of Waving Lotion with T-pin. Apply lotion, saturating each rod thoroughly and evenly. Place plastic cap over all rods and secure. Do not process under dryer or heat source. 5. RINSE. Rinse hair thoroughly for at least 5 minutes with warm water. Towel blot each rod thoroughly. 6. NEUTRALIZE. Shake Neutralizer. Puncture tip with T-pin. Thoroughly saturate each rod. Save ½ oz. (15ml) for later use. Wait 5 minutes. Gently remove rods. Work remaining Neutralizer through hair for 1 minute. 7. RINSE. Rinse hair thoroughly for 3-5 minutes with warm water. Towel blot. Wait 48 hours before shampooing or conditioning.
