Original formula Please
PLEASE bring back my Porosity Control the original formula. My hair is dying with out it. I have used this product for over 30 years and my hair is addicted to it. I use to be able to comb my thick hair with a rat tail comb when it was wet. It would leave my hair soft silky and bouncy. Now I can't run my hands through it with out snagging a tangle.

Greatest Product in the ORIGINAL/OLD FORMULA
I have used the Porosity Control Corrector and Conditioner for 25 years and then some DINGO decided to change the formula to the "233" version which totally stinks. It doesn't do near the job the old formula does. I buy in bulk and keep plenty on hand. Finding the old formula is impossible now. The old formula does a fantastic job of detangling, smoothing the cuticle, leaving the hair smooth and silky without buildup, minimizes hair loss and is fantastic as a pretreatment before a chemical process. BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!!!!!! Why do people have to screw up something that really works great? I have never understood that. Obviously they don't know what their doing.
ProsOriginal formula is the absolute best product in the world.
ConsNEW FORMULA totally stinks. Do Not Buy It. Coats the hair with a gummy residue. Does not correct porosity like original formula does. No good for pretreatment before chemical process. Does not work at all as far as I'm concerned. It's a total waste of money

Detangling, smoothing
I like to use this conditioner for smoothing my hair and getting the tangles out as a last step in my wash routine.

The BEST product Ever!
The Porosity Control Step 1 and Step 2 are the BEST products EVER! I have no idea why Roux decided to merge with Fermodil to create a what they call improved version of this----NOT SO! It DOES NOT compare to Step1 and Step 2. Please put these back on the shelves!
ProsThis product is ALL pro!
ConsThe only cons against this product its the merging of companies and replacing them with another product that does not come even close to the results of step 1 and 2 .

Great if your conditioners "stop working." Effective
Effective in helping the porosity of hair. My only gripe is that it is no longer sold in smaller bottles. Works every time. Sometimes I liked to mix it with my favorite conditioner for excellent results. Please follow the directions for maximum benefit. My hair is very easy to comb through after using this product.
ProsSmell, effectiveness, ease of use.
Consbottle size, price

Happy Hair
I bought this product as a result of my hair's condition after going six months without having my hair relaxed. I had become discouraged because nothing seemed to have been working. My hair was dry, dull, and brittle. I wasn't aware of this product being used on ethnic hair but I'm sooo glad I tried it! My hair is much like my mom's. I've shared the great news with her. It's wonderful to spend your money on something that works. Can't wait to try some of the other products...thanks!
ProsI really worked!
ConsNo dislikes.

Review for Roux Porosity Control Corrector Conditioner
I haven't come across a Roux product I didn't love. This is no exception. If you're having problems with porous, chronically dry hair, pick this stuff up immediately! It works wonders! I use it for 5 minutes after I wash my hair to seal the cuticle and lock in moisture. Wonderful!

Do you have any of the discontinued Roux Porosity Corrector Conditioner Step # 1 as shown in your add. I don't like the new formula 233. If you have the old formula, I would like to buy some. Sincerely, Edith Walker
