    Will not buy again
When I received this product, it looked like it had been opened and used. There wasn't a seal around the jar, and the contents looked old and oxidized. I have purchased this product in the past from another company with no issues. I will not purchase from this site again.

NO STARS FOR RUSK ANTICURL 1 KERASHINE
I have been straightening my hair for more than 30 years. You could say I know what I'm doing. About 15 years ago I started using Rusk RADICAL Anti Curl, that is the original which Rusk discontinued in favor of Rusk Anti Curl with Kerashine. So I bought Rusk Anti Curl with Kerashine #1 which supposedly is for normal hair. WARNINGl DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU VALUE YOUR HAIR. I had huge breakage and thinning of my hair with this product ! I had never had breakage with the original Rusk RADICAL anticurl which straightened my hair leaving it shiny, straight, and not stripped of oils. I called Rusk customer service to complain and the woman wrongly told me that #1 was the strongest of them all, which according to their own advertising is not true. I wish they would bring back the original Rusk RADICAL Anticurl (which was advertised as a solution to over permanented hair but worked wonderfully as a straightener. I would never buy this Rusk Kerashine garbage again. I understand that the original owners of Rusk sold the company and they came out with this new Rusk Kerashine product. There is a moral to this story for the Rusk Corporation. "If it aint broke, dont fix it"! Bring back the original Rusk RADICAL Anticurl.
Consnothing. left hair gummy and then had tremendous breakage

    Rusk Kerashine Conditioner
Please advise formula that is color safe, if any. I like my natural light brown color ( I don't lift color.).. and which is the gentlest. I am transitioning from keratin treatments - don't want too straight anymore... I have multi personality hair now, straight cotton candy-like frizz on outer (shell), and tight riglets underneath (new growth)... Want to wear in beachy waves, more relaxed curls - may have to spot treat. Is this a good option fo me?

Review for Rusk AntiCurl 1 Kerashine Conditioning
Forget the drugstore stuff. This product is worth it! The original formula (#1 in the black box) has been my staple relaxer since introduced. The newer Rusk Str8 is also very good but is a thermal straightener and requires more work. Anticurl works for all hair types. It can be used to tame frizz from straight hair or remove tight curls. Stylists also use this to remove unwanted curly perms. If performed correctly, it does not leave hair super porous like drugstore products. Remember to keep the hair straight with a wide tooth comb throughout the process and not to leave stage 1 on too long. The other review mentions that the product leaves an odor. Most chemicals used to change hair texture will leave an odor if you do not properly neutralize. Neutralization is so important because failure to do so is what leads to damage, breakage, hair loss, etc. My stylist shampoos between the 1st and 2nd phases, while taking care to keep the hair straight with a wide tooth comb, to help ensure proper neutralization.

Hi, I am not sure which of the three products I should use - could you please explain what time of product is best for different types of hair. I have used the original Anti Curl and it worked great. I do not have truly fizzy hair except in the summer when it is hot and hummid then it become uncontrolable. Please advise which of the three products should I purchase?
My hair is very curly and frizzy, I used the #3 and it works like magic , I have done my roots recently, after 6 months if the initial application and it's great and my hair is healthy and shiny , has a natural wavy look but no frizziness or tough curls. The Kerashine treatment will give you a nice shiny hair and more controllable hair. If your problem is just the frizz, I suggest you go with #1 , if you want more of the straightening effect , do #2. or if your hair is coarse n hard to manage like mine, do #3

Hi! I would continue w/ # 1. #2 is for colored treated hair & #3 is for a tighter curl. I would suggest using a Rusk product that will help w the fly aways. #3 will be too damaging.
