Rusk Deepshine Phyto-Marine Lusterizer
I was expecting the shine that I read from most reviewers and I have to say, I didn't get that so I won't be repurchasing this one.

My hair saver
I started using this years ago, and sadly it's been discontinued. When I found it on sleekhair I immediately bought 10. I actually googled this product and that's how I found out about sleekhair, and now I buy most of my hair colors here :)
ProsHelps dry hair get some moisture back
ConsIf you use too much it'll make your hair very greasy

While I have never personally had a keratin treatment, I can't imagine that this product would not be safe to use. Keratin is a protein, so the use of too much additional protein might pose harm & cause breakage. Since this is not a protein treatment nor is it protein-intensive, I wouldn't think daily use of this product would interfere with the benefit of a keratin treatment. I have used this product for over 2 years and can honestly say that it is the single product in my arsenel that is a 'must-have' product. I stock 4 tubes at a time in my cabinet so that I don't run out. I have long, fine, straight color-treated hair and this product, when used with my spray-in conditioner, prevents frizz and slightly moisturizes without adding weight. I cannot use heavy products that weigh down my hair, and this one does not. It smooths & de-frizzes. It also smells wonderful - light & fresh. I use a pea-sized amount at the roots and another pea-sized amount for the bottom half of my hair as it is very long. It doesn't take much. Highly recommended as I rarely find products that I can't live without!

Rusk Deepshine Phyto-Marine Lusterizer - 4.4 oz - Is the best leave in hair treatment I have ever found for my course, wavy, dyed hair. I've never had a keratin treatment, but have used shampoos and conditioners with keratin. Rusk Deepshine always improves my hair, no matter what shampoos and conditioners I use. It smooths frizz and adds beautiful shine. It's been hard for me to find in beauty shops, so I was very glad to find that sleekhair.com carries it, and at a competitive price. Buy it, try it, if you need a product that truly does smooth and shine, this is it. I hope Rusk never stops making it, I start to panic when I'm running low. I've tried so many other products that claim to smooth and shine. Nothing else works for my hair like Rusk Deepshine Phyto-Marine Lusterizer. Good luck!

I recently had my hair highlighted at a salon. They totally fried my hair. I have been using sayrena kay deep conditioner. Is there a better product you recommend for repair? Also, do you think the rusk Deep Shine Phyto Marine Lusterizer would give a shine. I have been putting Morroccan Oil in my hair, but it only looks shiny for a second. I have also been getting weekly protein treatments from another salon and glaze but my hair still looks extremely dull. What are some of your recommendations?
I have used this product for years. I highlight and dye my hair often. My hair becomes dry and damaged from all of the services. This product, for me, helps repair my hair and gives it a nice shine without weighing my hair down. My hairdresser even noticed the difference and she now uses this product.

I have also used Morroccan oil on my hair. I do like the ''RUSK DEEPSHINE; the short ime i have used it. I have long damaged hair,,, that is curly. And after you comb it out,,it wants to frizz. This product makes it soft and shinny,, not greasy. I would recommend this product. And i will buy it again.

I have color treated, straight-ish, dry hair and this is the ONLY product that gives it a nice shine. The oil-based products don't work well with my hair. I use this on the ends prior to blow drying straight and it works wonders. And I've tried many other type of smoothing/shine products and this is the best. But a little goes a long way - I apply to ends only or it can make my hair too greasy if I apply too close to the roots. My hair dresser uses this product often with her clients. I don't believe it will actually repair the damage - but it will make it look better when its styled.

I get my hair highlighted every 6 weeks, my favorite product is the RUSK Deepshine phyto-marine lusterizer. I have used it for a couple of years. It keeps my hair smooth and soft, helps to keep down the frizz from coloring and humidity- I apply to my dry hair in the AMs. I use it on my hair after I wash my hair, however, I like to mix it with the Rusk deepshine oil - together it works better for me than the Morroccan Oil.

I have heard amazing things about this product from a magazine. Can somebody tell me exactly what this product does and for what type of hair?
i have thick and sometimes unruly hair, this product tames it, shines it and helps the frizz and static. I love it and have been using it for almost 2 years. You need very little, don't overuse or you will get a greasy effect. I put very very little near the scalp area and much more from middle to ends. I would highly recommend it!!!!!

I have thick, curly tending to fuzzy hair. I love this product. A small amount goes a long way. It gives the curl definition, but leaves my hair soft. Kills the frizz and smells good. Yum

I have wavy/curly hair that becomes frizzy very easily. I use this product in place of mousse or gel, but you can use a combination of both if you prefer. Gives a great shine and removes the frizz.
