Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Color10 Hair Color

The first professional permanent colour in just 10 minutes

Due to its unique Amino Acid-Carrier and high perfoming colour pigments, the hair-building amino acids Arginin & Glycin are boosted faster into the hair shaft providing a shorter, hence more gentle colouring process.

  • Amino acids are known to deeply penetrate into the hair fibre.
  • Due to their small molecular size they reach even more narrow fibre elements in the cortex of the hair.
  • The amino acids we are using in IGORA Color10 are called Arginin & Glycin.
  • These work like a transport carrier helping to pull the colour pigments into the hair in less time. The amino acids do have a caring element on their own and due to the short processing time the colouring process is more gentle.

Good rich colors
Great product, but it is much darker than expected. Go lighter than your intended color (even 2 levels higher) and do a strand test.

Great product
Great product, but it is much darker than expected. 8.4 - Light Blonde Beige is more of a medium brown on my hair.

Liked it
I suggest getting a color brush and bowl as there is no nozzle on it.. Also when ordering it does not state you should get the color enhancer as well.. not needed but would of been nice as a recommendation on website.
ProsLoved the color of the product. I have little less than shoulder length,,, did not need to use the entire tube... as I squeezed all of it into a bowl with a brush since no nozzle given. Also leave it on longer to color grey. I left on for 15 minutes barely colored anything!

Very good for gray coverage
I have used all of the Schwarzkopf product lines and find this one to be the best at gray coverage. I mix 5-12 with 5-00, use 30 vol developed as recommended in the instructions, and leave on for 20ish minutes. I feel like the combination of ash 5-12 and natural 5-00 is enough to cover the gray without getting hot roots or brassy color.
ProsThick consistency great for doing root touchups without destroying highlights.

Gray is covered
I have used all of the Schwarzkopf product lines and find this one to be the best at gray coverage. I mix 5-12 with 5-00, use 30 vol developed as recommended in the instructions, and leave on for 20ish minutes. I had read that ash isn't the best choice to cover gray but it looks great.

Love this!
I tried it once before with 30 vol and got very warm results. I have an intense copper-gold undertone in my hair, so I have learned that I have to balance it out with blue. I hadn't used this for about six months, but tried it again this morning, this time with 40 vol and blue additive. It worked spectacularly! I love the ten minute processing time and the result is a clear, beautiful, pale blonde tone! I used it on about 1.5 inches of level 8.5 copper-gold, previously color treated hair and it worked great! I also had about 1/4 inch regrowth in a level 6 nuetral-ash with copper undertones. That part lifted spectacularly. I am in love with this brand and with Color10 speedlift!
Prosprocessing time, results
ConsI only wish it came with a blue-based ash.

what developer do I use with Igora 10 colors 3.0 and 5.5? I have lots of gray
For colouring darker you'll need Schwarzkopf Igora Royal Developer 3%/10Vol. For colouring tone-on-tone and the coverage of white hair you'll need Developer 6%/20Vol (Exclusion from the Color of Serenity: -00 shades - always use 9%/30Vol.).

I have an interview and I have to do color cut and style...I have used your line the salon does. So I have to get familiar with it. How is it mix ...can you send me some information ...This is a picture of the client ..any suggestion Thanks shefvon
The ordinary mixing ratio for COLOR10 is one to one. But if the hair is white and you use a fashion shade, use two parts of the fashion shade and one part natural.

Have the color numbers changed since 2012 for Igora 10? My box says 5-0 and makes my hair a dark brown. on the order page 5-0 is described as natural lt. blond?
The Color 5-0 has neutral - brown pigments as a base. It should give dark brown result, not blone.

What strength of developer do I need to use?
Hello Jorge, Choosing a developer depends on how much lift you want from the hair color. If you are doing a dark color it would be best to use a 10 or 20 volume. For gray coverage you it is recommended to use 20 volume, but this also depends on how resistant the grays maybe. Thank you, Marcela

I have very resistent gray & my hair also wants to pull red with color so I have been using Clairol Pro Creme 1/2 5N + 1/2 6AA. This is a good color for me but does poor job with gray coverage. I just tried Schwarzkopf for the first time & loved it BUT need to go a bit lighter. Perhaps 1/2-1 shade lighter. I Used 1/2 5-0 + 1/2 7-12 OR either 5-12 & 7-0 (halfed). 20 Developer. Not sure which one of these used. So... what colors do I need to use now so it's not quite so dark? Thanks SO much for the assistance.
If you have colored hair, you can't make them lighter with help the color. You'll need to use bleach powder. If you want to coloring only roots, you'll need 20 vol. developer and natural shadows of the color (with mark "0").

Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Color10 Hair Color is professional permanent colour that works in just 10 minutes. To use it you should determine the color level of your hair first. Secondly you should select the desired shade of Igora Color10 Hair Color. Select the proper level of developer to mix with the hair color and use it.

My retired hair dresser supplied me with my formula as follows: Schwarzkpof 10 minute color 7n-25g and 9n-10g with equal 20 vol. Which of your products fill this formula? Thank you in advance, Chris Flenner
You need to purchase one tube of 7n and one tube on 9n Igora 10 minute color. Each tube contains 30 grams so you will have to measure out the 25 and 10 grams. You will need to purchase the Schwarzkpof 20 volume developer and use 35 grams with your 35 grams of color.

Hi, the formulas your hairdresser is recommending are available: 7-0 Medium Nat Blonde and Color : 9-0 Ex Light Nat Blonde. . You can find all available Schwarzkop Professional Igora Colors 10 at http://www.sleekhair.com/9732.html. I am using the Schwarzkopf 10 minute colors now for the last 8 months (in fact 7, 8 and 9) and am extremely satisfied with the results.

Are you sure that your hairdresser used products of Schwarzkopf? Because this brand doesn't use letters mark of the shadows (color nuances). This brand uses mark with figures.
